Saturday July 15th

↦First Photo on Phone:
This picture was taken while David and I were still dating. I love going to the Fair I think it is so fun to see all the animals, booths and fun things people have to show there. Plus it's a great way to kick off the Fall season (and I love Fall).

Sunday July 16th

↣Mug:
David has had this cup forever and I love it! I have always been a big Jazz fan. I remember going to games with my dad when I was younger and I still enjoy going to games now. I have really liked that the Jazz have gone back to using a similar logo to this on their jerseys again.

Monday July 17th

↠Written words:
I loved the quote on my work calender this month!!

Tuesday July 18th

↔Frames:
We have been in our house for almost two years now and ever since we moved in I have wanted to do a gallery wall. I finally got some frames that I really like I found them at the D.I and paid $1.00 for each of them. I call that a pretty good haul since anywhere else these frames would've been between $5.00-$10.00. I'm going with a gold theme so I just need to paint some of the frames and then pick out the pictures. I'm so excited to get this project done!

Wednesday July 19th

↞ My morning routine:
My morning routine is pretty basic (you can't really tell from this picture though). Usually I just get up take my vitamins, do my hair and make-up, put on my pajamas (oh wait I mean scrubs), eat breakfast, brush my teeth and leave for work.
Easy peasy!!

Thursday July 20th

↢Yummy dinner:
I found this amazing recipe for orange marmalade chicken on Pinterest and David and I love it!! I have tweaked it a little so that we like it just a little more. This picture does not do it justice it is so good, let me know if you want the recipe and I can give it to you.

Friday July 21st

↪Culture:
We went to dinner in Downtown Ogden and decided to walk into one of the little shops, it had some of the most unique items in there. I loved this Lazy Susan though I thought it was so fun!

Only one week left of this photo challenge. I have had a lot of fun doing and hope you have enjoyed seeing the pictures!!

Thought for the day

“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was ending, he turned into a butterfly.” (Proverb) I came across this quote on Pinterest and suddenly loved it. I think it's so great and has such a good meaning behind it. I feel like it fits me well with where I'm at right now. I have grown so much over this past year. With starting a healthier lifestyle and taking more time to care for myself I have gained a confidence and happiness with myself that I haven't had in such a long time. I have found that if I'm not truly happy with myself I can't make the people around me happy. I have also found that I need to love myself the way I am and to be proud of myself for all of my accomplishments. #learningtolovemyselfagain  #loveyourcurves

Things I do to cheer myself up when I'm feeling down

Over the years I have had to find ways to cheer myself up if I'm ever feeling low. As I think we all have had to do. Here is a list of some of my favorite things to do. ♬ I will usually listen to music. Listening to the right songs can put you in such a better mood and even bring back a whole bunch of memories. I love music and always have it on. ♣♤ Another thing I like to do that will always cheer me up is playing games. I love to play all kinds of games. Card games, board games, anything really. ☏ If I'm ever down I can always call my mom and talk to her she always knows what to say to put me in a good mood and make me feel better. Or I can text my dad and talk to him. I also have several cousins and friends that I can call or text to help brighten up my day. I am so grateful to have them in my life and that I have such a good relationship with all of them. ✄🎨 I love to do crafts and being able to do a craft and use your creativity and imagination is so soothing an...

Staying strong in hard times....

This week has been very challenging for me. I have had to make some tough decisions. I have learned that I can stand up for myself and that I need to stand up for myself. I have always had a hard time standing up for myself, I have always felt like I can't do anything on my own and that I need the help from other people.  Although for the past few weeks I have realized that I need to be able to be on my own and not feel like I can't do anything without the help of other people. I have always been a people pleaser and I know that I need to do what is best for me. I always feel like I have to put my best face forward and try to hide my real feelings from the world. But you can only take so much before it becomes too draining on your soul and mental state.  I have had to do a lot of soul searching and I feel like I have grown. Sometimes what we think is the best thing for us turns out to be a stepping stone in becoming the best person you can be. I do know that wit...
