Hanging with the girls

We have been in our house for almost 2 years and we have loved it! Not only is it our first house which makes it great, but we love the neighborhood and our ward is wonderful as well which is a huge plus!! Some of the ladies in our ward get together once a month for a "Girls Night Out" and I have gone to several of them since we moved here. All of these get together's have been so fun! I have really enjoyed getting to know all of these ladies and I have had such good times going out with them. It's been great to have so many close friends in the area. I also think it's great that David eencouragese me to go out with them to have much needed girl time!!                                                                                                ❤ ๐Ÿ‘ฑ ๐Ÿ‘ฉ ♡          I have always had a good relationship with my mom, sister and cousins as well. After I got married I really almost fell off the face of the earth and didn't get together with them as much as I

Fit and Happy

๐Ÿ’ช  For the past few months I have been focusing on being more healthy, and along with it I have been trying to feel better about myself. I have also been eating better and trying to exercise more. I have really cut back on the amount of soda and sugary drinks I consume. I have been drinking a lot more water than I ever have. I am noticing a big difference in my complexion and my blood pressure (I haven't ever had high blood pressure but it is definitely getting better). And this past week while at church I found out I can cross my legs again, I haven't been able to cross my legs for about two years so I was super excited about that! (It's the little things, right?!)  I have noticed as well that I'm not nearly as tired as I was and I have a lot more energy. I have also been trying to eat more meals at home and incorporate more fruits and vegetables into my diet. Rather than the easy way out which would be to just go get something at a fast food restaurant. I am notici

Keeping the love alive๐Ÿ’–⤐

Last Saturday was our 6th anniversary and we had a very great, fun day!! ↠We started out the day by going to breakfast at "The Oaks" up in Ogden Canyon. They have seating outside by the river so of course we had to sit outside. I was glad we had our jackets with us because it was pretty chilly that morning. This was my first time going there and it was very good, we will definitely be going back there!!  ↠Next we decided to go see a movie, we have been wanting to see "The Guardians of the Galaxy" which came out just the weekend before. It was really good, I really enjoyed the music and there were a lot of witty jokes and comments that I thought were very funny throughout the whole movie. ↠ After the movie we went to downtown Ogden to walk around a little bit. We noticed when we got there that they were having "The Ogden Heritage Festival" at Union Station. When we got arrived there were Indian dancers that were just finishing up

On our anniversary

Our 6th anniversary is tomorrow May 13th and I wanted to pay tribute to my dear husband and list my 6 favorite things about him so here it goes.... *Even after all this time my heart still races when I see him or when we hug or kiss. Even just holding his hand gets me going! *I love that he is so knowledgeable and is always wanting to learn more. He is my walking thesaurus and pretty much knows something about everything (especially when it comes to sports). *He has such a strong testimony and I really admire that, he has been through a lot in his life. And even still he believes that the church is true and knows that there is a purpose for everything even if it isn't what we want at that time. *He is a wonderful uncle to our 9 nieces and nephews and I know that he will be a great father to our children some day! *He supports me and encourages me to try my best. I know that when David married me he didn't know quite what he was in for but he has been so great and

Remembering Grandpa Favero

We went to California a few weeks ago for the funeral for my husband's grandpa. And even though I had only met him just a number of times I know he was a good man and will be missed by so many people. He had been working in his yard and was trimming a branch on one of his trees. He was standing on top of his trailer and they aren't sure if the branch came down and knocked him off or if he lost his footing and fell off. Because of the fall he got some severe brain damage, and some smaller injuries on other parts of his body. While he was in the hospital he ended up having a stroke and had to be placed on life support. He was on the life support for about a week before they took him off, and within the next day or two he passed away. The services were very nice and I felt like I was able to learn a lot more about him. My in-laws made a really nice slide show video, it was fun to see pictures of him when he was younger. I found it very interesting that David has some
