Saturday July 15th

↦First Photo on Phone:
This picture was taken while David and I were still dating. I love going to the Fair I think it is so fun to see all the animals, booths and fun things people have to show there. Plus it's a great way to kick off the Fall season (and I love Fall).

Sunday July 16th

↣Mug:
David has had this cup forever and I love it! I have always been a big Jazz fan. I remember going to games with my dad when I was younger and I still enjoy going to games now. I have really liked that the Jazz have gone back to using a similar logo to this on their jerseys again.

Monday July 17th

↠Written words:
I loved the quote on my work calender this month!!

Tuesday July 18th

↔Frames:
We have been in our house for almost two years now and ever since we moved in I have wanted to do a gallery wall. I finally got some frames that I really like I found them at the D.I and paid $1.00 for each of them. I call that a pretty good haul since anywhere else these frames would've been between $5.00-$10.00. I'm going with a gold theme so I just need to paint some of the frames and then pick out the pictures. I'm so excited to get this project done!

Wednesday July 19th

↞ My morning routine:
My morning routine is pretty basic (you can't really tell from this picture though). Usually I just get up take my vitamins, do my hair and make-up, put on my pajamas (oh wait I mean scrubs), eat breakfast, brush my teeth and leave for work.
Easy peasy!!

Thursday July 20th

↢Yummy dinner:
I found this amazing recipe for orange marmalade chicken on Pinterest and David and I love it!! I have tweaked it a little so that we like it just a little more. This picture does not do it justice it is so good, let me know if you want the recipe and I can give it to you.

Friday July 21st

↪Culture:
We went to dinner in Downtown Ogden and decided to walk into one of the little shops, it had some of the most unique items in there. I loved this Lazy Susan though I thought it was so fun!

Only one week left of this photo challenge. I have had a lot of fun doing and hope you have enjoyed seeing the pictures!!

30 day πŸ“· challenge....Week 1

I decided it might be fun to do a 30 day photography challenge. So what I'm going to do is take a picture every day for the month of July and post them. I'm going to do them as a week review though so I will just have four posts for this month. It should be fun!! Saturday July 1st: ▲Selfie- I might just be the selfie queen! This day I decided to try something new with my hair, so I did a side bun. I think for my first attempt at it, it turned out pretty good. Sunday July 2nd: ▷Watermelon- I love watermelon, I was a little surprised though to be given watermelon at the end of our Chinese meal the other day. I must admit it was very refreshing! Monday July 3rd: ◊The sun- I just thought this was a pretty picture! Tuesday July 4th πŸŽ†: ◈Action photo- This is a picture from the 4th of the kids running to catch the parachutes. It was such a great day!! Wednesday July 5th: ◅Where I sleep- I love my bed and bedding set. The mattress is so comfy a...

Things I do to cheer myself up when I'm feeling down

Over the years I have had to find ways to cheer myself up if I'm ever feeling low. As I think we all have had to do. Here is a list of some of my favorite things to do. ♬ I will usually listen to music. Listening to the right songs can put you in such a better mood and even bring back a whole bunch of memories. I love music and always have it on. ♣♤ Another thing I like to do that will always cheer me up is playing games. I love to play all kinds of games. Card games, board games, anything really. ☏ If I'm ever down I can always call my mom and talk to her she always knows what to say to put me in a good mood and make me feel better. Or I can text my dad and talk to him. I also have several cousins and friends that I can call or text to help brighten up my day. I am so grateful to have them in my life and that I have such a good relationship with all of them. ✄🎨 I love to do crafts and being able to do a craft and use your creativity and imagination is so soothing an...

Thought for the day

“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was ending, he turned into a butterfly.” (Proverb) I came across this quote on Pinterest and suddenly loved it. I think it's so great and has such a good meaning behind it. I feel like it fits me well with where I'm at right now. I have grown so much over this past year. With starting a healthier lifestyle and taking more time to care for myself I have gained a confidence and happiness with myself that I haven't had in such a long time. I have found that if I'm not truly happy with myself I can't make the people around me happy. I have also found that I need to love myself the way I am and to be proud of myself for all of my accomplishments. #learningtolovemyselfagain  #loveyourcurves
